User Features
One click from dnaLIMS Users can access coreCalendar from the dnaLIMS home page with one click. Users always have access to current announcements and open reservation times.
Request Access From the resource calendar page or coreCalendar home page a user can request access to a resource. An administrator has the option of approving or denying a user access and sending an automatically generated email to the user.
Current Usage Summary The coreCalendar home page summarizes the monthly usage of a user and the daily schedule shows the open time slots.
Administrator Features
Approve/Deny User Access Administrators are notified of user access requests via email and can quickly approve or deny a user while at the same time sending an email notification of access level changes.
Create Resources Adding a resource immediately give uses access to view the resource schedule and creates new means of annoucments. If a general resource is made (one that does not require access permission from the administrator) user may immediately sign up for usage.
Make Resource Announcements In addition to emailing users when access is granted coreCalendar gives you the ability to post and send resource specific announcements to user groups. With one button you can email notify and post information to all the users of a resource of policy changes, price adjustments or resource downtime.
Generate Usage Reports coreCalendar has been programmed from the start to assist with the compiling usage data for month billing. Built into the system is the ability to view usage data sorted by User, PI and Usage type for each month of operation. Additionally we've built an Excel output for even easier integration into your billing system.
Set coreCalendar Administrators Set multiple administrators from the dnaLIMS list of system administrators so someone is always in contact with your users. This feature keeps someone in contact with the user base at all times and makes it easy to shift responsibility when someone is unavailable.
